Obtaining permits
  • The service is available all over Ukraine (Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odessa, Lvov, Kamianske, Chernigov, Vinnitsa, Zhitomir, Khmelnitsky). Offer different methods of payment

    Permits for the export or import of goods are issued by a specialized government agency depending on the assigned code (UKTZED). Without such documentation, the procedure of customs registration of goods will be impossible.

    1.1. Certificate of conformity

    This is a special document that can be used to confirm the quality of products. The certificate of conformity also shows whether the product complies with accepted international standards. Certification can be mandatory and voluntary.

    1.1.1. Why do you need voluntary certification?

    • To prevent the distribution of harmful or hazardous products.
    • To provide the consumer with all available information.
    • To create better conditions for participating in trends, international trade and for the sale of goods.

    1.1.2. Objects of the procedure:

    • Goods that were produced on the territory of Ukraine.
    • Goods that have been imported into the country.

     1.1.3. Documents for certification:

    • Application from the company.
    • Contract with the specifications described in it.
    • Important documentation for the goods (invoices, waybills).
    • Product description.
    • A declaration from the manufacturer and a quality certificate.
    • Sometimes other types of certificates may be required (veterinary, phytosanitary).
    • A sample of the goods.
    • Please note that the government of Ukraine has signed an agreement on mutual recognition of this type of certificate with some countries: Georgia,
    • Belarus, Russia, Armenia, Moldova, and others. However, the agreement is valid only for products manufactured in these countries.

     1.2. Declaration of conformity

     This is a special document by which the manufacturer guarantees that the products comply with all standards and regulations. It must be registered with the state authorities.

     1.2.1. Who can draw up a declaration?

    • The manufacturer of the product.
    • A legally authorized representative.
    • A supplier who sells goods in Ukraine.

    1.2.2. Documents for registration:

    •  Application.
    •  Documents confirming the state registration of the legal entity (copies).
    •  Agreement signed by the company and the foreign manufacturer (copy).

    1.3. Certificate of origin

     A document that can be used to confirm the fact that the product was manufactured in a particular place.

     1.3.1. What are certificates of origin for?

    • To provide benefits and discounts when paying customs duties.
    • They are often required for presentation in banking institutions.
    • Fulfillment of the terms and conditions stipulated in the contract between the exporter and the importer.

    1.4. Phytosanitary certificate

     A document that can be used to confirm that the goods comply with all phytosanitary standards.

     1.4.1 What products must receive such a certificate?

    • Crops.
      Seeds.
      Fruits, tubers, bulbs of plants.
      Ornamental and forest plants.
      Goods that may contain substances hazardous to health (of plant origin).

    1.5. Quarantine certificate

     A document that confirms that the goods of animal or plant origin (imported and exported) do not contain any harmful and hazardous substances.

     1.5.1. Documents for registration:

    • Export document (copy).
      Contract, which specifies the specification.
      Act of phytosanitary control.
      A sample of the goods.
      Receipt of payment (original).
      Letter to the quarantine service about registration.

    1.6. Veterinary certificate

     This document has several different types. It helps prevent the importation of sick or infected animals into Ukraine.

     1.6.1. What must be provided to obtain a certificate?

    • Application.
    • Protocol of tests conducted in the laboratory.
    • Permission to import.

    1.7. Sanitary and hygienic conclusion

     A document that confirms that the goods were produced in accordance with all existing rules and regulations.

     1.7.1. Types of conclusions:

    • For products (5 years validity of the conclusion).
    • For the type of activity (unlimited, except for seasonal work).
    • For technical conditions (unlimited or under contract).

    1.7.2. Documents to start the expert evaluation:

    • Application.
    • Product characteristics.
    • Documents confirming the quality (copies).
    • Normative documentation (copies).
    • Information about the manufacturer.
    • Product sample.

    1.8. Gemology report

     A document that contains all the data about gemstones.

     1.8.1. Documents for registration:

    • Documents confirming the registration of the company.
    • Application.
    • Contract with specification (copy).
