What an ISO 9001 certificate confirms

ISO 9001 sets requirements for a quality management system: how a company understands customer requirements, plans work, manages risks, evaluates suppliers, handles nonconformities and improves. The certificate confirms that such a system exists and works. It covers the organisation's management system; products are assessed under separate conformity procedures.

ISO 9001:2026 or 2015

ISO 9001:2026 was published on 16 September 2026. The transition period runs until 30 September 2029, and ISO 9001:2015 certificates remain valid until then. From 31 March 2028 initial accredited certificates are issued only to ISO 9001:2026. If you have time, we build the system to the new edition; for an urgent tender, a 2015 audit with a later transition is possible.
