Information certificate from the State Register of Real Property Rights

The information certificate from the State Register of Real Property Rights shows who owns a flat, a house or a plot in Ukraine and whether the property is mortgaged or under arrest. Owners who live abroad, their lawyers and buyers ask us for it before a sale, an inheritance case or a filing with a foreign authority. We obtain it for you without your visit to Ukraine.

What the register information covers

Under Article 32 of the Law of Ukraine "On State Registration of Real Property Rights and Their Encumbrances", information on registered rights and encumbrances is open, public and provided for a fee. It is available on paper or in electronic form, and both have the same legal force.

• the owner or co-owners and the basis of ownership;

• the property description and its registration number;

• mortgages, arrests, bans on disposal and other encumbrances.

When it is needed

• before selling or buying property in Ukraine, to check the owner and encumbrances;

• in an inheritance case, to confirm what the deceased owned;

• when a foreign authority, bank or lawyer asks to confirm property owned in Ukraine;

• when an owner abroad wants to make sure nothing has changed in the register.

How we work

1. You send the address or the registration number of the property, or the owner's details.
2. We check whether the property is recorded in the electronic register. Rights registered before 2013 through the Bureau of Technical Inventory may be missing from it, and in that case we explain what can be done.
3. We obtain the information certificate and send it to you with a short explanation of what it shows.
4. If the certificate will be used abroad, we arrange the apostille and translation.
